When I was pregnant for the first time, we wanted to know whether it would be a boy or girl. But in India, where we live, its forbidden by law to determine the sex. So we flew to the Netherlands to do the scan at Doctor Papa's practice (which is also known with the Dutch expats in Delhi). It was so intimate and nice watching the miracle in my belly (with my family) and to learn everything about the baby from a real expert! It was a boy. Eighteen months later we were back on the plane again to go and have a scan. Now it was a girl. And three months ago, our 3rd child was born. Another awesome echo. We were able to share the photos and the video taken at your center with our family back in India. Everyone was very happy to see them, especially the grandparents-to-be, who are new to such technological advances.
Thank you for providing us with these wonderful moments that we will cherish forever. We have seen the video a couple of times already and every time we watch it we are amazed.

I would like to share a very nice experience that I had recently!

I am a retired gynaecologist and I was formerly very committed to my obstetrical patients. 

My daughter in law and son invited me to join them for a fun scan in Amsterdam at Dr. Papas practice. We gynaecologist generally have a great prejudice against so called “fun scans” and often think of them to be unnecessary. This however turned out to be a very different experience. We were welcomed by a very charming, nice and well spoken Dutch Antillean, Dr. Elvin Papa. There he sat in a beautiful building behind a beautiful ultrasound machine. It would have been far too expensive for my former hospital to purchase for us gynaecologists.

Everything was shown, the entire body of the baby, all of the organs, cardiovascular and we then found out the sex. The actual fun part was that we got to see a very good impression of the baby’s face in 3D.

Dr Papa does a lot of training and monitors the up to date developments with regard to ultrasounds, this was evident and the whole examination went well and was very relaxed. An ultra sound can reveal some problems or causes for concern but luckily we had good news so we were able to celebrate. It seems to me of course very important that if you did unfortunately have any cause for concern during the scan that you woud be in very good hands with Elvin Papa. He would know how to comfort and refer you. Hopefully this does not happen very often.

My husband is Dutch and I am Venezuelan. When I met Drs. Papa I was spending some time in The Netherlands and was already 25 weeks pregnant. It was the most wonderful experience cause even though I don't speak Dutch he explained every little detail in Latin so I could understand it very easily. My baby is now 2 months old and when I gave birth I could not believe how accurate Drs. Papa was. He said on my appointment that my baby will probably be a 3,200 grams baby and Ethan was exactly like that, I'm already planning to visit him if I have another baby, he is a brilliant doctor with a huge charisma.
